Judith Paula Billbe-Shaw
  Judith Paula Billbe-Shaw…… Went to her heavenly home on April 16, 2015. Judy was born on October 24, 1942 in Wichita, KS, to James Paul and Ethel Cleo Field-Billbe. Paul and Cleo lived on a farm in Udall, KS until 1949 when they moved to Decatur, AR to be near her grandparents. Judy began school in Decatur Schools in the second grade, where she met the classmates including Lee) who would continue as friends throughout life. She married Lee Shaw on August 4, 1961 in the First Baptist Church in Decatur, where she had been organist since a young age. She loved young people and when their sons were teenagers, Lee and Judy served as Youth Ministers for Sunnyside Baptist Church in Rogers, AR and Judy also served as Benton County Youth Director as well as Church Secretary. Music was a very important part of Judy’s life and she served as pianist/organist in a number of churches. Decatur First Baptist, Decatur, AR, Sunnyside Baptist Church, Rogers, AR, Mt Zion and Richwood’s Baptist Churches in Arkadelphia, AR, Stadium Drive Baptist Church and Forest Park Baptist Church in Fort Worth, TX. Along with her music, she enjoyed making things to give to others. Her favorite crafts were Pressed Flower pictures, Scherenschnitte, Wire Wrapping, Trellis Lad der Ribb on necklaces and handmade earrings. She shared her jewelry with the Chemo Clinic in Granbury, TX and anyone else who expressed interest. After retirement from Ophthalmology Associates, as accounting department manager, in 2004, she and Lee spent the last years RVing and traveling America and enjoyed making new friends and seeing the beauty of this country. They traveled to Germany, Mexico, England and Scotland, took cruises down the Mexican Rivera and enjoying the Fall colors in New England and Canada. Preceding Judy in death were her parents, Paul and Cleo Billbe and grandparents, Noah and Martha Billbe and Eula Field, a brother, James Paul Billbe, Jr. She is survived by her husband (soul-mate) Lee of Granbury, TX. Three sons (best friends): Lance (Joyce) of Fayetteville, AR, Larry of Little Elm, TX, Lang (Luz) of Cornwall, NY. Two granddaughters: Kelli Shaw-McGarrah of AR and Ruby Shaw of NY. 3 grandsons, Kyle and Kaleb Shaw of AR and Finn Shaw of NY. Three step-grandsons: Dustin, Ryan and Hunter McClish of AR. 3 Great Grandsons: Dylan and Noah McGarrah and Luke Shaw of AR. Also, one Aunt: Norma Billbe-Divelbiss of KS and one Uncle: Ralph Billbe of Idaho. Survivors also include sisters…..Jean Billbe-Johnson of AR, Jacki Billbe-Beck, Wanda Billbe-Jones and Winnifred Stanbury of OK. A brother: John Billbe of AR. A host of cousins, nieces and nephews…..she loved them all. Judy’s cat, Miss Kat, will miss her lap to sit on for petting. Memorial Services will be conducted in Granbury, TX and Decatur, AR.   1. Grandmom, I really wish things would have been different with every one. Not sure why people are difficult sometimes. It’s frustrating. You would have known how awesome two of you great-grand sons are. The little things, the big things, things that matter and things that don’t. I know your watching them now and can see them. I love you and forgive any wrong doings I don’t know about.
