Charlie Rea, 76 passed away Saturday Sept.5,2015. Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cana Baptist Church, Burleson Tx. Charlie was born July 5, 1939 to Earl and Jewel Rea in Handly, Tx. He married the love of his life, Alice, on Sept 21, 1965. He served in the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves. He enjoyed going on mission trips with his church to build whatever the need was. He liked to fish, golf and reading WWII history and volunteering at Huguley Hospital.He worked for TXU for 42 years before retiring. He was a man of faith in God, and showed it with his kindness and humor. Charlie was proceeded in death by his father Earl, mother Jewel, and brother Wayne. He is survived by his wife, Alice. His daughters Leah and husband Steve Foley, Leslie and husband Charles Bearden. His son Corey Rea and fiancee Chrissy .Five wonderful grandchildren, Clayton Bearden, Allison Bearden, Molly Rea, Emma Rea and Marshall Rea. He will truly be missed but he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
